RURAL RIDING - CLOTHING
Protective Gear and Safety - Wear brightly coloured gear; a helmet, jacket, Hi Vis vest, the works! Make sure your helmet meets relevant safety standards; a full face helmet is advisable. Long trips in rural areas generally mean extended exposure to the elements. Dress in layers to avoid hyperthermia and heat exhaustion and add/remove layers to maintain an ideal body temperature. Protective gears including gloves and boots are highly recommended.
