I have just been reading about tallow which is present in dryer sheets and fabric conditioner. Tallow is a rendered form of beef or mutton fat, processed from suet. So found an alternative fabric softner reciepe i thought i'd share.
1 cup vinegar (white)
1 cup washing soda
1 cup water
Drops essential oil (good choices include lemon, lavender, mint, geranium)
Bottle for storage (flip-cap if possible).
