Increase Awareness - Rural areas remain home to many wildlife animals, so be mindful that your 'route' may be directly through somebody's home! Be wary of leaping deer, possums, badgers and fox as you ride and respect their habitat. It's easy to forgot when taking in beautiful surroundings but keep your eyes peeled for road signs such as those indicating changes in the speed limit or hazards such as falling rocks, windy road or hump back bridges.
